Info
Morcheeba stops by Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on 26 April 2027 with their distinctive blend of trip-hop, downtempo and warm pop melodies. The group was formed in the mid-1990s by brothers Ross and Paul Godfrey together with vocalist Skye Edwards, and precisely the range between the relaxed grooves and Skye's clear, laid-back voice remains at the heart of the sound. Live, you can expect songs that trace back to their breakthrough with Who Can We Trust? and the more open, song-oriented period around Big Calm, but also to the later albums, where the band came together again and regained their energy. It will be a concert that can be soft at the edges and heavy in the bass, with room for the long, flowing passages and the more direct choruses, which have made Morcheeba a staple name on the British electronic scene.
