Info
On 24 July 2027, Rod Stewart will perform at the ZAG Arena in Hanover with 'The Final Encore'—an evening that brings together his many musical lives. Since the 1960s, Stewart has moved between rock, folk, soul and pop, first with bands such as the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, then concurrently as a solo artist. Precisely this mix remains evident today: the raspy, gravelly voice, the penchant for grand melodies, and songs that instantly resonate.
In the set, early solo phases meet the later pop-rock drive and the aspect Stewart has continually cultivated through cover versions and standards. 'The Final Encore' is less a look back than a cross-section through decades on the stage—with a focus on the moment: a band, a singer, a catalog that has grown across generations, and an audience that sings these songs not for the first time.
