Info
On March 13, 2027, The Red Clay Strays bring their Southern-grown mix of country rock, Delta blues and gospel heat to Rogers Place in Edmonton. Born in Mobile, Alabama, the band moved from barroom covers to original songs built on taut guitars and big, soul-leaning vocals, the kind that can swing from grit to something close to a hymn without losing momentum. With tracks that helped push them past the regional circuit and into a wider spotlight, they now channel that same live intensity into a set where country balladry, Southern rock and raw groove sit side by side.
Also on the bill, Nashville-based quartet The Bends open the night with straight-ahead alternative rock powered by saturated guitars, punchy rhythms and hooks drawn from everyday life. Formed during their Louisiana State University days and now settled in Nashville, they’ve been sharpening a compact, garage-leaning sound across singles and an EP, with an album, If You Insist, lined up for 2025.
