Info
On February 28, 2027, The Mavericks bring their “& Friends” spirit to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, for a set built on what they’ve always done best: slipping between country, rock’n’roll, vintage pop and Latin colors without ever getting stuck in one lane. Led by Raul Malo, the Miami band has spent decades circling the edges of Nashville, mixing honky-tonk roots with Tex-Mex flair and a real taste for swing and orchestral touches.
Expect a live show that moves fast, from tight country ballads to dance-ready grooves, with that borderland energy that’s been part of their DNA since the early ’90s. Their more recent chapters, including the Spanish-language turn and the latest album Moon & Stars, add new shades to a catalog that’s already built for the stage. “& Friends” hints at a night with room for surprises, but always anchored by Malo’s voice and the band’s instinct for making every style feel connected.
