Info
On February 24, 2027, Eihwar lands at 106 in Rouen with its 'Witches & Vikings European Tour'. Launched in 2023 by Asrunn and Mark, the duo traces a personal line between neofolk, pagan music, and tribal electronic tailored for the live stage. Their formula, which they call 'Viking War Trance', rests on chanted vocals, ritual-feeling percussion, dark textures, and a pulsation that drives both headbanging and trance. On stage, Eihwar plays less at recreating history than at embracing Nordic fantasy, with martial energy, choruses designed to be sung along in unison, and an electronic tension that raises the pressure. Discovered online and then embraced by the metal and dark folk scenes, the duo has already performed at festivals such as Hellfest, Wacken Open Air, Resurrection Fest, or Midgardsblot. In Rouen, it is an opportunity to dive into their world, between concert and performance, with in the background the tale of 'Hugrheim', this fictional universe that extends their tracks.
