Info
On October 18, 2026, Deep Forest lands in Bristol for a live set at The Croft, bringing back the project’s signature collision of electronic textures and borrowed voices from across the globe. Born in early-90s France, Deep Forest has always worked in that zone where downtempo beats, ambient pads and jazzy touches meet traditional motifs, turning sampled chants and melodic fragments into full songs rather than simple decoration.
Expect a journey through the different eras of the band’s sound: from the early breakthrough that made “Sweet Lullaby” a reference point, to the wider, more collaborative approach of the mid-90s, then the later chapters led by Éric Mouquet, where the concept kept evolving through themed explorations and new partnerships. Live, it’s less about nostalgia than about hearing those layers breathe, with rhythm and atmosphere doing the storytelling.
