Info
Deep Forest land in Nottingham on Wednesday 21 October 2026 for a live set that reconnects with the project’s original idea: letting electronic music breathe with voices, rhythms and traditional motifs from across the world. Born in France in the early 90s from Éric Mouquet and Michel Sanchez, the duo made a name fast with the self-titled Deep Forest album and the track “Sweet Lullaby”, before pushing the concept further on Boheme, including “While the Earth Sleeps” with Peter Gabriel.
Onstage today, Deep Forest keeps that signature blend of downtempo, ambient textures, jazz-inflected passages and higher-tempo electronic moments made for moving, jumping between hypnotic calm and dancefloor-ready pulses without losing the thread. Since 2005, Mouquet has carried the name forward with a series of travel-minded chapters like Deep Brasil, Deep India and Deep Africa, and more recent releases that revisit the catalogue with new colours. Expect a set that nods to the classics while staying rooted in the present.
