Post-punk — Icy Cold Records — Grenoble, France.
Between post-punk and noir rock, Varsovie was formed in 2005 in Grenoble by Arnault Destal (drums, lyrics, music) and Grégory Cathérina (vocals, guitars, music). Since then, the band has released six albums and two EPs and has played numerous shows across Europe.
'Notes for Later' is Varsovie's sixth album, scheduled for October 16, 2026 on Icy Cold Records. Still featuring French lyrics and a mood that is at once tense and crepuscular, this new album continues to reshape the era's convulsions through singular figures and landscapes under tension. The three influences: Joy Division, Interpol, Alain Bashung.
Alien Tears (9:30 PM)
Darkwave — Tours, France.
On the border between post-punk and darkwave, Alien Tears erects a cold rite where rage, bitterness and melancholy mingle into an electric catharsis. Amid hazy keyboards, heavy and rapid rhythms, guitars loaded with chorus, a deep and distant voice resonates like a cry in the void.
Its self-titled EP, released in 2024, features six tracks with dense synth textures, balancing emotional proximity with cosmic distances.

Antifer makes guitars, synths, melodies and dancing rhythms converse in a cold and luminous universe, where melancholy is transformed into energy. Between electronic tension, incisive guitars and hypnotic grooves, the collective creates a contemporary, immersive, and decidedly live new wave.
After the release of several singles and an EP, the first album Stella Mantis (Icy Cold Records, 2026) marks a new step and accompanies the live performances, where the sonic and visual universe takes on full scope.
