On October 3, 2026, Hypertrash brings umru to Flex in Vienna for a night built around the hyperpop impulse: fast, shiny, unruly, and made for the dancefloor. Based between NYC and the web-bred scenes that shaped late-2010s club pop, umru moves as easily through bubblegum bass and experimental pop as he does through harder dance, trance flashes, bass pressure, and abrasive club turns. His sets are all about sharp contrasts: pop edits cut with jagged rhythms, processed vocals, abrupt build-ups, and that playful, artificial edge that keeps things unpredictable.
More than a producer and remixer linked to the shape-shifting electronic pop orbit (from Charli XCX to Rebecca Black), umru is first and foremost a DJ who treats the booth like a live lab. Expect a dense, high-speed mix where sweetness and impact collide, and where the line between internet culture and sweaty club energy completely disappears.
Joining him, Austrian musician Mavi Phoenix lands with a hybrid set that blurs performance and DJ energy, keeping the night’s momentum shifting and alive.
