Softcult arrives in Turin on November 27, 2026 at sPAZIO211 with its riotgaze: the Canadian sisters Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn weave shoegaze, grunge, and punk into songs where melodies stay at the forefront, yet are always scratched by dense guitars and by a nearly physical tension. With When a Flower Doesn’t Grow they bring to the stage a debut conceived as a statement: vulnerability without self-pity, anger and care coexisting, lyrics addressing oppression, trauma, and self-determination with piercing clarity. Live, their sound plays with contrasts: suspended moments and sudden, heavier accelerations, all held together by a DIY attitude. Opening are Glazyhaze, who in Turin present their second album SONIC. Written and recorded between the northeast of Italy and London, the album pushes the Venice-based band toward more personal writing, blending shoegaze, post-punk, and alt rock. It is a journey through the chiaroscuro of love and self-discovery, made of nebulous guitars, choruses that emerge from saturation, and shifts in atmosphere that move from dreamlike intimacy to a darker tension.
