As much a composer as an instrumentalist, he has developed a writing centered on the bellows' rhythm, and you can hear it: his sets resemble a minimalist folk trance, sometimes spare, sometimes rougher, with the voice striking the accordion rather than caressing it. From Äärelä to Rujo, his trajectory sketches a music of substance and rhythm, tailored for live performance and the energy of the moment.
