Info
David Rodigan presents Decks & Dialogue, an evening with one of the important voices in reggae and sound system culture at The Drill Shed.
The night begins in conversation, as Rodigan takes us through the records, artists, stories and defining moments from more than four decades in music, from sound clashes and broadcasting to championing Jamaican music around the world.
Then it’s over to the decks for a full DJ set, moving through reggae, roots, dub, dancehall and the anthems that have soundtracked generations.
First the stories behind the records. Then the records themselves.
This is a 16+ event (under 18s accompanied by an adult 25+).
