London-based Australian producer Tristan Hallis, aka DJ Boring, has been shaping a sound that moves freely between house, breakbeat and techno, with a clear love for rave history. First spotted in the mid-2010s with “Winona”, he’s never stayed in one lane: expect 4/4 drive to flip into broken rhythms, always carried by warm textures, airy pads and nods to 90s and 00s dance music.
