Info
Quiet Light is the project of Riya Mahesh, an American producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, and she arrives in Lisbon to present «Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2» at Casa Capitão on October 30, 2026. Her songs function like “dream sequences”: electropop with a Lynchian edge, suspended in time, where short, sharp melodies cross with small details of ambient, electronic and folk.
After the self-titled debut EP (2020), Mahesh has been building an independent discography with Blue Angel Sparkling Silver and Fourth of July (2023), Going Nowhere (2024) and Pure Hearts (2025), while gaining attention inside and outside the DIY circuit. Along the way, she earned a merit recognition from Iggy Pop and opened concerts for names such as Cameron Winter, Erika de Casier, Nilufer Yanya and Chanel Beads. In this new mixtape, now for True Panther, the stage becomes a diary in collage form: places, people and influences to fit into a single flow, for those who enjoy music that leaves the head halfway between the dance floor and the dream.
