Info
Edinburgh's Fright Years are an indie rock four-piece whose raw intensity and emotionally charged songs have been turning heads across the UK since their formation in 2021.
The band consist of Jules Kelly, Harrison MacLeod-Bonnar, Fraser Charleson, and Struan Blacklock. They craft indie rock that is as cinematic as it is emotionally charged, imbuing 90s alt-rock, 80s post-punk/new wave, and modern indie into one mix.
At the centre of it all is Juliette Kelly's vocal, shifting from raw and intimate to soaring and anthemic, a voice that grounds every song in honesty and power. Their debut EP, Still Life, earned attention for its lyrical vulnerability and sonic ambition, transforming personal reflections on loss and grief into something more universal.
From a set at TRNSMT Festival to a BBC Introducing session at Maida Vale, Fright Years arrive at their November 2026 show at The Grove with a tour built on these songs and experiences.
