VÆB takes their Icelandic pop formula to London on 23 September 2026 at the O2 Academy Islington. The duo, brothers Hálfdán Helgi Matthíasson and Matthías Davíð Matthíasson, build short, punchy tracks where electronic pop meets light hip-hop and synthetic choruses that hit quickly and linger. The project gained early momentum via TikTok and has since established itself firmly in the Icelandic scene with releases that keep the tempo high and the energy forward-looking.
On stage, you can expect a setlist that threads together from the early songs through the EP Væbauer to the Eurovision era that made them widely known: first the final in Söngvakeppnin with “Bíómynd”, then victory with “Róa” and a trip to Eurovision 2025 in Basel. With the album Væbout from 2026 in their back pocket, VÆB delivers a show that blends pop hooks and club-friendly electronic without detours.
