On September 19, 2026, Steve ’N’ Seagulls land at Wilhelm Public House in Mikkeli with their now well-known twist: turning hard rock and heavy metal staples into acoustic bluegrass, country and folk. The idea is simple and it works because they commit all the way, swapping distortion for banjo, accordion, mandolin, double bass and tightly locked-in percussion, while keeping the punch and tempo that made those songs hit in the first place.
Since breaking out in Finland in 2014 with their viral take on AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”, the band have built a set that plays like a translation rather than a parody: big riffs become fast-picked string lines, drum drives turn into hand-to-hand grooves, and the choruses stay made for shouting along. Their albums, from Farm Machine to Another Miracle, mix reimagined classics with original tracks, and on stage it’s all about collective playing, sharp dynamics and that constant rhythmic tension.
