Info
On October 10, 2026, Keziah Jones will perform at the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles in Brussels, with that typical mix he himself once dubbed 'blufunk': funky guitar lines, a loose groove and a jazzy sense of timing. Jones often builds his songs from the guitar, with percussive strikes and riffs that carry rhythm and melody at the same time, as if he were directing a whole band by himself. Since his breakthrough in the 90s, with the debut Blufunk Is a Fact, he continues to draw on influences from funk, blues, and African rhythms, without losing sight of the song. Expect a set that moves smoothly between tight, danceable passages and more open, improvisational moments, with room for material from different periods of his career.
