DMA’s bring their guitar-driven trio energy to Liverpool Olympia on February 14, 2027. Formed in Sydney in 2012 around singer Tommy O’Dell and guitarists Matt Mason and Johnny Took, the band built its identity on direct indie-rock songwriting with a clear britpop edge: clean chords, sharp hooks, and melodies that land fast. Early tracks like “Delete” set the tone, and that sense of immediacy still runs through their setlists.
Over time, DMA’s have stretched the formula without ditching it, leaning into wider, sometimes more dancefloor-friendly textures heard on The Glow, while keeping the punchy, chorus-first approach that marked Hills End and For Now. Live, they’re known for tight, song-led performances, shaped by years on UK stages and festival circuits, plus touring alongside names like Liam Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft. Expect a show that moves between anthemic indie rock and brighter, more rhythmic moments, with plenty of room for singalong lines.
