Info
On March 20, 2027, Loreena McKennitt brings to Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna her The Mask and Mirror 30th Anniversary Tour, built around the 1994 album that marked a turning point in her world. Known for weaving Celtic roots with folk and broader “world” influences, she shapes songs where poetry, travel stories, and old traditions sit naturally next to each other. This anniversary set is a chance to reconnect with the record’s medieval and Mediterranean colours, from ballads to more instrumental passages, carried by her clear voice and the patient build of strings. On stage, McKennitt’s approach stays acoustic at heart, leaving room for textures, rhythm changes, and the way a melody can drift from Ireland to Spain to the Middle East without forcing it. A concert for anyone into narratives you can follow like a book, with arrangements that breathe and a repertoire designed to be heard live, not rushed.
