Info
Back in their hometown, The View return to Dundee for a live set at LiveHouse Dundee on April 16, 2027. Formed in the mid-2000s around Kyle Falconer, Kieren Webster and Pete Reilly, the band built its name on nervy, melodic indie rock with a punk edge, power-pop hooks, and that unmistakable Scottish phrasing that makes the choruses hit a little different.
Expect sharp guitars, straight-to-the-point singalongs and a pub-rock snap that nods to the early breakthroughs of their first wave, while leaving room for how their writing has shifted across the years. From the rush of their debut era through later records and their recent return to activity, The View’s show is about tight songs, quick turns, and melodies that stick without trying too hard. Special guests are also on the bill.
