Info
Young the Giant bring their melodic, guitar-led indie rock to Glasgow on 10 October 2026 at Queen Margaret Union. Built around Sameer Gadhia’s vocals and a tight band dynamic, their shows move between propulsive alternative rock and more spacious, synth-tinted moments, always with a strong sense of chorus and groove.
Over the years, their sound has stretched from the punchy, straightforward energy of their early releases to a broader pop-rock palette, with songs that leave room for texture and atmosphere. Expect a set that can pivot from driving riffs to calmer, choral-leaning ballads without losing momentum.
There’s also a lyrical thread running through their catalog—identity, heritage, and the push and pull of belonging—that gives the bigger hooks extra weight live. In Glasgow, the band’s mix of indie immediacy and modern sheen should land as a focused, full-band night rather than a nostalgia run.
