Info
Del Amitri bring their “Past to Present” tour to Perth Theatre and Concert Hall in Perth on December 2, 2026, looking back over four decades of the band’s songcraft. Born in Glasgow and led by songwriter and singer Justin Currie, they’ve built a sound where chiming guitars and clean, direct melodies meet lyrics with a worn-in, clear-eyed bite.
This show leans into the full arc: the early spark of the ’80s, the breakthrough years that shaped albums like Waking Hours and Change Everything, and the run through Twisted and Some Other Sucker’s Parade. Expect a set that moves easily between jangly pop-rock drive and quieter, folk-tinged moments, with room for staples like “Nothing Ever Happens”, “Kiss This Thing Goodbye”, “Always the Last to Know” and “Roll to Me”, alongside later material from their return era. It’s less about nostalgia than hearing how those songs still hold together live.
