Info
On October 29, 2026, Angine de Poitrine stops in Heidelberg, at Metropolink's Commissary. The instrumental duo from Quebec, Klek and Khn de Poitrine, brings to the stage music that sits between experimental rock, math rock and angular post-punk, yet operates with a repetitive, almost mechanical logic that is more reminiscent of techno architecture than of classical band dramaturgy. Their pieces arise from short motifs that build, slide against each other, and pull back. Over a dry, precise drum kit, microtonal guitar and bass lines and chromatic phrases weave subtle tensions through often asymmetric structures. Without vocals, the music here is about movement and variation: compact, abrupt, physical – and for precisely that reason surprisingly danceable. For those who recently discovered the band in live sessions, this is your chance to experience that dynamic directly in the room.
