Info
On March 19, 2027, Lee’s Palace in Toronto hosts Games We Play on the “I Wish I Never Quit” US Tour. Led by singer-songwriter Emmyn Calleiro, the project turns pop-punk into tight, fast, melodic songs that jump straight into relationships, anxiety, and that weird moment when adulthood starts to feel real. Expect punchy guitars, emo-pop hooks, quick turns of humor, and choruses built to be yelled back from the floor. What began as a bedroom setup now lands as a full-band show, balancing early-2000s DNA with a more online, present-day edge.
Bears in Trees joins as special guest, bringing their South London “dirtbag boyband” spirit and a very collective way of writing and singing, with several members sharing vocals. Their set moves between indie rock, emo, pop rock and pop-punk, mixing bright, direct riffs with coming-of-age lyrics that hit close without getting dramatic. It’s the kind of bill where singalongs and introspection can sit in the same three minutes.
