Info
On March 20, 2027, Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado bring their 'Live and Furious 2027 Tour' to Worpswede's Music Hall. Around the Danish singer and guitarist Thorbjørn Risager, a large, well-rehearsed band takes the stage here: a rhythm section, guitars, keyboards, and a horn section that pushes the sound wide and straight ahead. Musically, the set moves between electric blues, R&B, rock and soul: edgy riffs, driving grooves, and then again moments when it boils down and becomes more melodic, with a nod toward Americana. Those who have followed the band's development in recent years will also find the rockier textures and the slightly cinematic moods, without losing the core of modern blues. A concert for anyone who appreciates the drive of the songs, dynamic energy, and a band that truly functions as a unit live.
