On 4 September 2027, In Extremo will bring their 'Weckt die Toten Festival' to the Peißnitz Open-Air Stage in Halle (Saale), and will lean exactly into what the band has defined itself by since the 1990s: metal and folk rock crashing together with bagpipes, shawms, hurdy-gurdy, and hard guitar riffs. Between rock refrains and motifs from old lyrics, a set emerges that sounds as much like a medieval market as it does a festival stage.
Mono Inc. contribute their Dark Rock: dense, lightly goth-tinged sounds, big hooks, and songs that favor atmosphere over glamour.
Doro stands for classic heavy metal with a distinctive voice and the Warlock heritage behind her, somewhere between intensity and anthems. Fiddler’s Green crank up the tempo and deliver their 'Speedfolk': Celtic melodies, punk energy, and choral refrains that work instantly in an open-air setting.
