Richie Hawtin takes the helm again on January 1, 2027 at Diverbosc in Cerdanyola del Vallès, to kick off the year with a long-running set. A pioneer of minimal techno since the 1990s, Hawtin arrives with his signature unhurried approach to building the set: continuous mixing, texture changes that are almost invisible, and rhythmic progressions that tighten little by little.
His history across Detroit, Berlin, and Ibiza is evident in the balance between the functional and the futuristic, with dry basslines and a very measured sense of space. And if the Plastikman side surfaces, that acidic and introspective touch that made his sound a reference will appear: repetitive structures, contained tension, and details that cling to you. A date to let yourself be carried away by the precision of the minimal and the punch of direct techno, without adornment.
