On January 29, 2027, at La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille, Sam Quealy is set to unveil her hybrid pop universe, somewhere between club and performance. A Franco-Australian based in Paris, she first developed her stage language as a dancer and showgirl, and it shows as much in what you hear as in what you see: for her, the music moves forward with the body, fashion, and a very precise staging.
After the energy of Blonde Venus, she presents the chapter JAWBREAKER, an album produced with Marlon Magnée (La Femme) that leans toward something more organic, without losing the disco pulse and the drive of dance-pop. Expect taut, saturated alternative pop, threaded with sharp refrains, with punk theatricality and an unapologetic hyper-femininity, carried by millimetre-perfect choreography.
