Squeeze returns to the road with that British guitar-pop that helped shape the new wave since 1974. The heart remains the Difford–Tilbrook duo, a pair of songwriters with a nose for melody and for telling the everyday with fine irony, between the post-punk nerve and the neighborhood-band classicism. On March 16, 2027, at Barcelona's Sala Apolo, the group presents a live show centered on Trixies 2026: a collection of songs rescued from their early years, written then but never recorded, that today sound like another piece of the puzzle of their history. In the repertoire also appear their late-70s and early-80s anthems, those tracks that became standards for their immediate hook and their precision. A date to see how a songbook made of quick choruses, clean arrangements, and small stories told with great detail stays alive.
