On March 1, 2027, Signs of the Swarm land at Limelight in Belfast for a night built on the harshest end of modern deathcore. Coming out of Pittsburgh in the mid-2010s, the band has shaped a sound that crashes brutal death metal weight into downtempo slam sections, then snaps back with more technical, tightly cut riffing. Since vocalist David Simonich joined in 2018, their identity has leaned into ultra-deep gutturals and a phrasing that turns every breakdown into something physical, not just heavy.
From Senseless Order and The Disfigurement of Existence through Vital Deprivation and Absolvere, Signs of the Swarm have sharpened a style defined by staccato guitars, hard tempo shifts, and a bleak mood focused on suffering and dehumanization. With Amongst the Low & Empty, they’ve pushed more dynamics into the chaos, giving the set room to breathe before it drops again.
