On April 17, 2027, at MTELUS in Montreal, Gab Bouchard brings his “Encore Encore” show to the stage, right in that sweet spot where francophone rock songwriting meets indie bite and more intimate turns. Coming out of the Lac-Saint-Jean and Montreal axis, he’s built songs that speak plainly about relationships, doubts, and everyday life, carried by electric guitars, discreet keys, and grooves that don’t need to rush to hit.
On stage, you can expect the direct writing and mid-tempo pulse of Triste pareil (2020), alongside the denser, more driven rock edge he pushed further on Grafignes (2022). Backed by a tight band drawn from Montreal’s indie scene, the set should lean into a real group sound without losing what makes his songs feel personal: a voice that stays close, even when the amps are up.
