On March 11, 2027, Murray Head will perform at the Centre Culturel Edmond Desouches in Lucé for a concert that spans his trajectory between pop rock and musical theatre. A singer, songwriter and actor born in London, he has built a repertoire in which songs tell stories, with that storytelling sensibility and melodies that have carried him from the recording studios to the stage.
On stage, one can expect to hear the spirit of his 70s albums, from Nigel Lived to Between Us, between soft ballads, folk and melodic pop rock, not forgetting the titles marked by his major musical theatre ventures. From Jesus Christ Superstar, where he lends his voice to Judas on the 1970 concept album, to Chess in the 1980s, Murray Head has always kept that taste for play and dramaturgy. A live show designed as a journey, in English as well as in French, carried by a familiar voice and direct writing.
