On Wednesday, April 14, 2027, Hang Massive places its handpans at the Warehouse in Nantes to open a new chapter after the Beyond the Horizon tour. For more than fifteen years, Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat have been forging their path as a duo with music that is as much ambient as world music, carried by soft pulsations, repetitive motifs, and those long resonances that constitute the instrument's signature.
On this 2027 world tour, the group presents a new album and a redesigned live format: handpan at the heart, live instrumentation around it, electronic textures in support, all accompanied by immersive visual work. Rather than a 'songs' concert, Hang Massive bets on movement, materiality, and the interweaving of the two players, to establish a collective, direct and physical listening experience, between rhythmic meditation and a gradual build-up.
