After his self-titled album and a marathon tour, Ycare returns to the stage with a project set apart: a full album dedicated to Jacques Brel, due October 2, 2026. Rather than reproducing the originals, he uses them as a playground to shake up the songs, pushing them into a more electric, more upfront register, with an interpretation as close to the text as possible. The rearrangements, co-authored with Pascal Obispo after their duo 'Viens,' emphasize rock energy and emotional tension, while preserving what makes Brel's work powerful: stories that bite and words that grab. On September 23, 2027, at the Maison de la Culture in Clermont-Ferrand, Ycare will present this reinterpretation on stage, between the heritage of chanson and contemporary pop intensity, driven by his storytelling sense and his taste for melodies that linger in the mind.
