Circles brings The Egyptian Lover to Dublin on October 24, 2026, for a night built around the raw pulse of West Coast electro. Behind the name is Greg Broussard, a DJ and producer who came up in early ’80s Los Angeles with the Uncle Jamm’s Army party scene, where hip-hop, funk and machine rhythms collided on crowded dance floors.
Expect a set driven by tight, programmed beats, looping synth lines and that unmistakable talk-sung delivery: minimalist, direct, and made to lock you into the groove. From the mid-’80s landmarks like On the Nile through One Track Mind and Filthy, his sound has always kept one foot in club culture and the other in futuristic imagery. Still touring regularly, he blends classics with later releases that stay faithful to his old-school electro-funk DNA, bringing the same stripped-back intensity to The Bernard Shaw in Dublin.
