On October 15, 2026, The HU will bring their concept of 'hunnu rock' to the Sporthalle Hamburg: a powerful blend of rock and metal, in which throat singing, choral passages, and traditional Mongolian instruments are as important as heavy riffs and driving rhythms. Since the early tracks 'Yuve Yuve Yu' and 'Wolf Totem,' the band has sharpened this sound on international tours; live, it feels like a shared pull from the steppe, electric guitars, and collective energy. In the set, the motifs from The Gereg and the harder edges of Rumble of Thunder are likely to merge seamlessly.
SKÁLD opens the evening with neofolk, placing Norse myths and sagas into a modern, percussion-driven stage frame. With vocals in Old Norse and other Scandinavian languages, supported by traditionally tinged string tones, the French project led by Christophe Voisin-Boisvinet builds a dense atmosphere between ritual and concert. In Hamburg, archaic folk meets electrified metal—without either overpowering the other.
