On December 5, 2026, Kneecap land in Hull for a show at Connexin Live, bringing their Belfast-born, Gaelic-flavoured rap chaos to the stage. The trio Mo Chara and Moglaí Bap, backed by producer DJ Próvaí, have built a sound that flips between Irish and English without warning, riding heavy beats with a mix of dark humour, satire and straight-up social commentary.
Their tracks pull from the everyday realities of West Belfast: street life, booze, precarious jobs, local politics, identity pressure and the long shadows of the Northern Ireland conflict. Kneecap don’t present it like a lecture though; they twist symbols, lean into provocation and turn self-mockery into a weapon. Live, that translates into a set that’s raw, loud and tightly paced, where sharp writing and crowd energy feed off each other. Expect a gig that feels like a rush of jokes, anger and adrenaline in equal measure, with the same unruly spirit that’s pushed them beyond Ireland and onto bigger stages.
