On March 6, 2027, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats land at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London with their heavy, retro-rock universe steeped in doom, psychedelia and late-60s garage grit. Built around Kevin Starrs’ voice and guitar, the band leans into slow, distorted riffs, melodic harmonies and that cinematic tension that feels like a late-night horror screening. From the raw punch of Blood Lust to the more conceptual, trippy turns of Mind Control, their songs play with dark narratives and vivid atmospheres, a thread pushed even further on Nell’ Ora Blu.
Also on the bill: Conan, Liverpool’s self-proclaimed “caveman battle doom” trio. Expect doom and sludge stripped to the bone: massive, ultra-slow tempos, abrasive tones, blunt repetition and rough vocals, with imagery that lives somewhere between war, myth and confrontation. From Monnos through Evidence of Immortality and beyond, they’ve honed a sound designed to hit physically, track after track.
