Robert Finley embarks on a tour at L’Astrolabe in Orléans on November 20, 2026, with that Southern blues that sticks to the skin and a story told as much through his voice as through his songs. Long kept in the shadows, between gospel and makeshift stages in Louisiana, he ultimately emerged late from obscurity with Age Don’t Mean a Thing, before a decisive meeting with Dan Auerbach propelled what followed.
On stage, one discovers that rough, direct grain, and that storytelling sensibility that runs through his records, from Goin’ Platinum to Sharecropper’s Son, to Black Bayou, where he returns to his roots by blending blues, Southern soul, rock’n’roll, jazz and folk. A concert conceived as a true moment of living music, without frills, where each track speaks of work, of roads, of family, and of everything that shapes a life.
