On December 6, 2026, From the Jam hits The Live Rooms in Chester to dig straight into the catalogue that shaped UK mod revival at the turn of punk and new wave. Launched in 2004 by Russell Hastings with two original Jam members, the project isn’t about impersonation, but about getting the feel right: tight guitars, upfront bass lines, and that clipped, melodic drive that made those late 70s and early 80s records so immediate.
Over the years the lineup evolved, with Rick Buckler stepping away and the band pushing forward around Hastings, later teaming up with Bruce Foxton and drummer Mark Brzezicki. Live, the set leans into the classics everyone came up on, while leaving space for songs from the later Foxton and Hastings era. Expect a night built for singing along, where the details of the arrangements matter as much as the chorus.
