Mall Grab lands at Electric Studios in Sheffield on September 4, 2026. Behind this name stands Jordon Alexander, an Australian producer and DJ who has become a master at making rough house dialogue with edgy breakbeat, speeding techno, and nods to the great instincts of rave culture and UK garage. Spotted in the mid-2010s with a string of quick, club-focused releases, he later shaped his universe through his labels Steel City Dance Discs and then Looking For Trouble, ideal playgrounds for direct, physical electronic music designed for the dancefloor. In both live performances and DJ sets, Mall Grab advances with little warning: a line of house can tilt toward jungle colors, a trance build can emerge around a break. His 2022 album What I Breathe broadened the spectrum with more melodies, airier textures, and a few vocals, without relinquishing the essentials: heavy rhythms, nocturnal tension, and that bounce that keeps the room moving.
