Alizée takes the stage again on February 6, 2027, at L’Olympia in Montréal, for a concert that traces the major milestones of a pop career built over two decades. Revealed in the late 1990s, she quickly established herself with francophone pop with dance-inflected accents, propelled by the early songs written and produced with Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat. From Gourmandises to Mes courants électriques, one finds this blend of synthetic melodies, mid-tempo rhythms, and immediate refrains.
As the albums progressed, she pushed the boundaries: Psychédélices opens up more to electronic textures and a more introspective writing, while Une enfant du siècle plays a more conceptual electropop, nourished by imaginaries of fashion and art.
