Originally from Martinique, Joanne Dolly is a singer, double bassist and flutist. She navigates between genres with ease. Her universe is a fusion of gospel, jazz, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms.
On stage, she weaves a link between jazz, soul and Caribbean vibrations. Her double bass becomes a dance partner, her voice a wave that brings people together.
Influenced by figures such as Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae or Esperanza Spalding, Joanne forges a singular identity, anchored in the moment. She writes her own story, between groove and poetry. With Joanne Dolly, music becomes a breath and a force that touches the heart.
