If you’re into the intersection of jazz and Brazilian groove, on October 27, 2026 in Milan Azymuth arrives with a live show in the JZ:RF series at Circolo Arci Bellezza. Born in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1970s, the trio built a language of its own where samba, funk and fusion fit together effortlessly, with writing full of melodies and plenty of room for improvisation. Their approach to rhythm, elastic and precise, has set a standard: round bass tones, keyboards that sketch luminous lines, and a percussive drive that keeps the set moving.
From landmark albums such as Light as a Feather, Outubro, or Telecommunication to the band’s more recent releases linked to its international trajectory, Azymuth brings to the stage an urban, warm sound, crafted as much for listening as for dancing. Today the project continues around Alex Malheiros, with a renewed lineup that preserves intact the group’s 'samba doido' identity.
