Gold Panda is the project of British producer and composer Derwin Dicker, whose blend of electronic music, intricate sampling and melodic experimentation has made him a noted figure in contemporary electronic music. Since the release of his debut album Lucky Shiner in 2010, Gold Panda has built a distinctive body of work that balances intimate storytelling with adventurous production, drawing inspiration from his Essex roots, Japanese culture and everyday life.
Across albums including Half of Where You Live, Good Luck and Do Your Best and The Work, Dicker has continually evolved his sound while remaining unmistakably himself. His work has earned critical acclaim and influenced a new generation of producers.
Released in 2022, The Work marked a personal chapter, reflecting years of self-discovery, fatherhood and creative renewal. More than a decade into his career, Gold Panda remains a singular voice in electronic music, known for his ability to transform personal experience into immersive, emotionally resonant sound worlds.
