Celebrating 30 years of Delsin Records, the Amsterdam-based independent techno label pushing electronic music pulses since 1996. Started by a young Marsel van der Wielen as Peel Seamus setting up a small DIY bedroom label for his own machine-fixated music experiments, it grew out to one of the longest-running and respected techno imprints, counting over 350 releases by more than 100 different artists. Withstanding the peaks and troughs of the music industry, not to mention the wax and wane of techno’s popularity, Delsin has maintained a role combing through the electronic milieu and presenting new artists alongside familiar figures. Through shared history and a certain air of authority, it has also made a home for reissues of out-of-print and over-sharked gems from techno’s many-layered history.
On 18 September 2026 at Paradiso in Amsterdam, Delsin will present a wide range of artists representing the label throughout its 30 years of existence, with a journey of techno with melodic warmth and an understanding of the principles set out by the genre’s innovators, futuristic music that pushes the capabilities of the technology while still retaining a sensitive humanity.
