Nominated for the MOBO Awards, Kilimanjaro is a Zambian-born DJ and producer who grew up in Scotland and has gained international recognition with 'No Bad Vibes' and hundreds of millions of streams. A former drummer, he keeps a physical connection to rhythm in taut, percussive sets where house, techno, afro-house, UK funky and touches reminiscent of amapiano intersect. A direct way of linking British club scenes with African influences, with upfront bass and energy designed for the dancefloor.
Discovered through online mixes and performances, including a widely followed Boiler Room appearance, he subsequently lined up major gigs and festivals, while releasing singles, EPs and remixes on independent labels. Today, he is moving in a new direction with a live format and is preparing 'THE ASCENSION (INKAWAMI)', a more intimate project that draws on his cultural heritage.
