On Saturday, September 5, 2026, 1985 Music arrives at Open Ground in Wuppertal with a heavy bass setup. In the Freifeld, the signature style of the label meets MC-Energie and precise DJ craft: SP:MC leads the night with his distinctive flow, while Alix Perez sets the anchor. The Belgian, who grew up between Charleroi and London and now lives in New Zealand, has long stood for drum and bass with depth: dark, melodic layers, razor-sharp rhythms, forays into halftime, dubstep, and modern break aesthetics. As the head of 1985 Music and part of the Shades duo, he brings exactly this blend of pressure and detail onto the floor.
With Cesco and Tasha, the lineup broadens further: both move confidently between club-ready drive and bass-heavy edges, without losing sight of the groove.
