Momoko Gill makes her first appearance in Milan with her solo project on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Arci Biko. A Japanese-born drummer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and producer based in London, she brings to the stage a set that weaves contemporary jazz, intimate songwriting, and slower electronic textures, with great attention to space, dynamics, and rhythmic details.
At the center of the evening is Momoko, her debut album released by Strut Records: music made of light percussion, suspended melodic lines, and a prominent voice, able to move between minimalist soul, ambient textures, and a more improvisational energy. For the occasion she will be accompanied by a tight-knit band: Momoko Gill on drums and vocals, Maria Chiara Argirò on keyboards, Ezekiel Ajie on bass, and Tamar Osborn on saxophone and flute. A live show designed to let the songs breathe and to let them change shape in performance.
